Color Logos

One of the biggest uses of Illustrator has always been and most probably always will be logo design. All good corporate image design relies on a great composition and superb typography – this isn’t as easy as it sounds. It takes hours of sketching, hours of mocking and even hours finishing the final touches.

Dominant colors are the first colors we notice when we look at a quilt. Color dominance is complex, because it depends on the overall combination

seasonal colors represent the moods of the months, gives and idea of which season your in.

Color depth

Color depth is only one aspect of color representation, expressing how finely levels of color can be expressed; the other aspect is how broad a range of colors can be expressed

color balance

color balance is the global adjustment of the intensities of the colors (typically red, green, and blue primary colors)

Color contrast

 This relationship between a subject (or figure) and its surrounding field (ground) will evidence a level of contrast; the more an object contrasts with its surrounds, the more visible it becomes.

Emphasis

Emphasis is applied to individual parts such as a word or phrase by changing its appearance, making it stand out. Sometimes considered a principle of design on its own, emphasis can be created using all of the various elements and principles of design.
